The Clinical Coordinator Pharmacist will aid and assist the Director in the education of the staff, and with the enhancement and maintenance of their competencies. He/she will participate in regulatory agency inspections and maintain a clinical process improvement program under the direction of the Pharmacy Director. He/she will assume a leadership role in Clinical Pharmacy Program including education and assigning projects. He/she acts as a resources person to all internal and external customers (i.e. physicians, nursing, pharmacists, technicians, patients, etc.). He/she assists the Pharmacy Director and performs all duties of a staff pharmacist when necessary.
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications include:
* Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmacy Education. * Hospital/Clinical experience; previous Clinical Coordinator experience preferred. * BS or Pharm.D degree. * State licensure as a Pharmacist. * Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. * Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. * Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
