The RN Tele/Progr Care reports directly to the unit Clinical Manager, and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process in accordance with physicians' orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies. Patients come to the CV Step Down Unit directly form the Open Heart Unit approx 24-48 hours post-op.
Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desired.
• Current Florida Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required as condition of employment.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire date.
