Looking for Acute Care Wound/Ostomy RN
· WOCN or WCS educated/certified preferred
· Mon-Friday position. May occasionally need to flex hours to meet acute care staff educational needs.
· Perform inpatient wound /Ostomy consults
· Present at nursing orientations
· Co-chair in patient skin team council
· Track and analyze statistical data that is presented to QCC/CEO Report regarding Facility acquired Pressure ulcer development and prevention plans
· Work closely with unit clinical coordinators in the pressure ulcer prevention program for respective units
· Liaison between hospital and outpatient wound care clinic. Facilitate referrals to clinic as appropriate
· Participate in policy development /update as indicated
· Participate at minimum Qtrly and prn in all unit department meetings
· Participate in case management Interdisciplinary team meeting as identified to facilitate wound/Ostomy continuity of care at discharge

Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications include:
* Current licensure as an RN
* Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
* WOCN or WCS educated/certified preferred.
* Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
