POSITION SUMMARY
The Imaging Assistant, under the supervision of the Chief Technologist, assists the Radiographers, Radiologists and patients of the Radiology section. Ensures the safe transport of patients to and from the Imaging Department. Acts as a courier between related units of the hospital. Acts as facilitator to expedite patient exams. Is responsible for general department supply ordering, loading and unloading the multi-viewer, darkroom duties and generalized assistance. Performs other related duties as requested
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year experience
Handle a very heavy work load
