The RN Risk Management Specialist II assists the Risk Management Director with implementation and coordination of the Risk Management Program.
Management of the occurrence reporting system, management of the complaint module, knowledge of regulatory State and Federal compliance, staff education, assist in implementation of the claims reduction initiatives, knowledge of RCA's ( root cause analysis).
The position requires strong critical thinking and priority setting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Access
Qualifications
Fla. Licensed RN, Risk Management license, (or able to become licensed within 6 months of hire)
BSN preferred, other clinical licensure's may be considered.
Knowledge of fundamentals of risk control and professional liability claim/litigation management preferred.
